DC United takes on the New Jersey RedBulls tonight at 7:00pm at home on Audi Field

DC is hot off a scintillating 0 – 0 draw against the other team from NYCFC. Despite getting 4 points from the last two games, the boys in Red and Black have failed to impress on the offensive half. Their last game saw them become only the 2nd team in MLS history not to record a shot. The loss of creative talent in Paul Arriola (ACL) and Edison Flores (Face) is taking its toll, and outside of Ola Kamara, the teams ither goalscoring threats are untested.

DC’s bright spots have come from their youth players, with Yow and Paredes getting significant minutes. Paredes in particular has impressed, looking like the most reliable option going forward. Julian Gressel has also started to contribute more.

Meanwhile, the RedBulls are hot off of a 3-0 thrashing at the hands of Philadelphia.

Will DC pull out the win, or at least record a shot? With no real changes to the squad, I’m predicting a formation very similar to that which failed to do so last time out.

My Prediction: DCU 0 – 1 NYRB
